Handball wimmelbook
Illustrated wimmelbook about the women's national handball team for children aged 2 and over
What is your work about?
In my project, I tell the story of an international match of the women's national handball team in the form of a wimmelbook on seven illustrated double pages, from the final training session to the match in the arena to the award ceremony.
What in particular motivated or inspired you to do the project?
Immediately before working on my Bachelor's project, I completed a seven-month internship at the German Handball Federation in the graphics department. During this time, I was able to combine my two passions of sport and design and gain unforgettable experiences. With a picture book on the subject of handball, I can combine both in one project.
How did you grow in your process?
While working on the wimmelbook, I learned that less is not always more, but sometimes more is simply more!
Were there any particular challenges that you overcame?
For my project, I acquired completely new software for drawing and perfected my work with it according to the requirements of my project.
