The stolen cheese
A puzzle-adventure for mouse enthusiasts
What is your work about?
I wrote a story about little mice playing detectives, learning that not every thief is a nasty villain. Readers are prompted to solve small puzzles and closely examine the illustrations.
What specifically inspired or motivated you for this project?
I wanted to create something cute and interactive. As a fan of gamebooks and puzzles, I saw the chance to combine book illustration and game design.
How did you grow in your process?
I created search-and-find images for the first time, which was challenging. The pictures need enough interesting details to be enjoyable for a longer look, offering many opportunities to implement fun ideas.
How could the project continue?
I hope to find a publisher for the book. The story could also work as a point-and-click adventure, which might be a future project.
