A zine about the concept of beauty
What is your work about?
Beauty, a topic as old and diverse as human culture itself. It is a fundamental concept that is often dismissed as superficial. In my project, I aim to showcase the multifaceted nature of beauty and provide insight into both its beautiful and ugly sides. My zine conveys theories and ideas, but most importantly, it shares my personal views on the topic of beauty. It is intended to encourage readers to question things that are often taken for granted.
What did you learn and grow from during your process?
Putting together a book project within four months is not easy. I repeatedly encountered hurdles, the biggest being time pressure and the resulting frustration. I would say that not giving up and constantly motivating myself to keep going have contributed the most to my personal growth. At this point, I also want to thank my family and friends, who supported me through those difficult times. Thanks, my loves!
