More than just a bicycle light
What is your project about?
Where do I put my battery-powered bike lights when I'm not cycling? My project addresses how an unloved but important item can become a practical, multifunctional companion. one is a light that can be used both while riding your bike and as a lamp in a tent, at a picnic, or during whatever adventure you’re on. At home, one doesn’t end up in a drawer but integrates into the space as an atmospheric light while charging.
What inspired you in particular?
I am fascinated by bicycles as an ecological, forward-thinking means of transportation. However, external bike lights, both in their design and usage, offer room for rethinking. It was important to me to develop a light that is easy to transport, store and charge. By connecting the front and rear lights when they’re off the bike, I simplify processes and create new possibilities.
