During her studies, she developed particularly in terms of personal goals and attitudes. As a designer in everyday life, she particularly appreciates the collaboration and exchange with other creative people. She sees her greatest strength in the field of design in her ability to solve problems and create new ideas. What particularly invigorated her during her studies was making new friends and the many opportunities to develop creatively.
Drink more - learn better
"Concept to encourage pupils' drinking behaviour" Participatory co-design project with the Montessori School Münster
What is your project about?
Our co-design project is a participatory, open-ended process. The aim is to develop a product together with 5 pupils from the Montessori school on the following design question: "How can we encourage healthy drinking behaviour at school and combine the availability of water with motivational measures?"
We use social research methods for this. Our work focusses on our co-designers, who enrich our project with their resources as experts in their own living environment. Together with them, we develop a concept, which we then transform into a design and test and further develop throughout the school in an iterative process.
What inspired you in particular?
The collaboration with our co-designers was a particularly moving part of our process. Each week we had a lot of fun in our joint workshops. We are delighted that we will be able to make a real difference at school in the future and motivate pupils to drink water. Working so closely with our target group throughout the project gave us the opportunity to design our product as appropriately and effectively as possible.
Why did you decide to work as a team?
We decided to work as a team because we believe that we can complement and complete each other on a personal level as well as with our design skills. Working together greatly enriches our process and gives us the opportunity to dive deep into the subject and work in a versatile way.
