Making gender medicine visible: Educational work for gender-sensitive health
What is your work about?
Gendizin ® is an educational campaign that appeals to society at well-known medical locations. The medicine packaging as a familiar medium with its informative content in the form of a leaflet conveys an appealing attitude through the strong design concept.
What in particular motivated or inspired you to work on the project?
The message is clear: the biological difference between men and women has a major impact on the course of diseases, symptoms and drug effects. This is precisely why gender-sensitive medicine - gender medicine - and education about it is so important.
How could the project continue?
For us as individuals, it is important that we advocate for our own health. In the long term, the awareness campaign should encourage patients to actively engage with gender medicine, get involved in their treatment and choose the right therapies together with their doctors.
