Coli
A digital intestinal diary
What is your work about?
With my app "Coli", I want to support people with bowel diseases or bowel problems in their everyday lives. At its core, the app is a digital bowel diary that makes it easier to record diet, bowel movements and symptoms. Based on the information collected and its evaluation, "Coli" can then provide information on potential intolerances. It also visualizes the course of the disease or symptoms in statistics and changes or trends can be better recognized.
What in particular motivated or inspired you to work on the project?
I was diagnosed with chronic inflammatory bowel disease myself at the beginning of 2023. Initially, I found it very difficult to identify the food intolerances I had developed during the acute phase of my illness. I also had the feeling that the medication wasn't working. Symptom diaries are very helpful for precisely these problems. However, it is tedious to keep them regularly. "Coli" provides a solution.
