Light Before Motion
What is your work about?
Emotions. In automotive design, nothing matters like innovation. My light visualizations are above all a creative experiment to throw ideas for the automotive future into the room.
What in particular moved or inspired you to the project?
My internship. A fulfilling job. There I created my first light animations and really wanted to deepen this in order to be able to work in the industry.
What made you grow during your process?
Project management. Ideation, modeling and animation – I had to assign time slots to all of them independently. Keeping track of things and distributing resources correctly were challenges that helped me decisively.
Were there certain challenges that you overcame?
For the light animations, I learned and tried out a lot of things from scratch. I had to work out a pool of animation methods in order to be able to design as freely as possible.
How could the project continue?
Hopefully, I will be able to continue my work in a professional team. With my new skillset, I can now create animations in addition to the product – perfect for automotive lighting.
